I almost broke my TV because of Tim McCarver.

I'm barely even watching the game, I just have it on in the background cause I like having baseball in my living room.

They were talking about Cole Hamels' lack of run support in recent games. The Phillies are leading 9-2 right now.

Joe Buck says, "In the four games prior to this start, the Phillies scored a COMBINED 8 runs for Hamels in his starts."

---long pause, as if McCarver is doing the math---

Tim McCarver: "They've scored one more than that for him today!"

Thankfully, the Rockies have awesome announcers. During the 22 inning game earlier this year, I was literally laughing every couple of minutes. I grew up on Harry Carey and Steve Stone, so I feel blessed in that respect. Love both those guys.

I know this thread is leaning more to the baseball side of announcing, but no announcer is worst than either Phil Simms or Randy Cross on CBS NFL.

They are the bottom.
