Korn is the shit. I am sorry but I LOVE them, but then again, I am an eighteen year old who relates to their songs well, and as far as LB goes... ehh, their old shit was good, like the album with break stuff on it... that album was good.

Never liked Korn, but I did like Limp Bizkit (as did everyone.. we were all that age :grin:).

I still enjoy a couple of their songs (particularly when chilling with people my age & there's alcohol involved.. its a good conversation starter :grin:).

Limp Bizkit's cover of Faith was good as well :laugh:.

like i said, they where huge in highschool, but i never liked them THEN

hell yeah, this thread is bringing back those memories, haha.

both bands rocked, and had distinct sounds. but to echo pretty much every sentiment in this thread so far: they both suck huge cocks now.

I was raised on Megadeth, Pantera, Slayer, Morbid Angel, Sepultura, etc, etc..
Needless to say when Korn and Limp Bizkit came into the scene I fucking hated them with a passion.
Their first albums were semi-decent, but we saw through that bullshit.
They set the standard for "Nu-metal" and a billion shitty bands and posers were soon to follow, which made a mockery of the metal scene.
I will admit I somewhat liked their first albums when they first came out, but I hated what they were about, and most especially their fans.
Maybe they opened up new doorways for "metal".. maybe they just took a big steaming mainstream shit on it. I'm undecided.

whats funny is in the states people usually like one or the other sometimes both but if they like both it's because they were usualy listening to stuff like Korn forst then went to Slayer and such. When playing over seas the bands say that the kids like them both alot more often then the kids back home.
