Hazelnut milk is awesome. And hemp milk might be not as bad as I thought.

I just downed my hazelnut milk and it tasted so damn good. If you're unfamiliar with the hazelnut flavor, try it now. When I lived in Ohio hazelnuts were never really talked about at all. I don't know if that's the case in all the midwest and east, but it probably is. But here in Oregon I tried my first hazelnut and now it's definitely my favorite. Way better than almonds and walnuts. It reminds me of walnut mixed with pecan kind of. But way tastier.



^ delicious. The taste of hazelnuts in a fairly decent milk substitute product. I could tell the texture was a little off when I poured it over some cereal (Enjoy Life Cranapple granola. Definitely complimented by the nuttiness of the milk) and by drinking it but it was still good. It probably just doesn't make the best milk substitute if you're looking to use it in cooking and shit.

As for the hemp milk, I remember making a topic about how much it fucking sucks. Well that's Hemp Bliss. I hear they are widely hated.

But Living Harvest is supposed to be great and even good for a mil substitute.

I think that they call them "filberts" in the Mid-west and East.  I agree that hazelnut milk is delicious, but I prefer it in smoothies or baked goods because of the grainy texture.

Living Harvest hemp milk is GOOOOD.  It's also quite expensive, so I don't buy it very frequently.  :tongue:  Have you tried it yet, or are you just contemplating it?
