i was thinking he was using that to get people from the opposite end of the spectrum interested in the movie to maybe open their minds a bit more about the legality of cannabis. seth rogen does a good job at legitimizing the use of pot in my opinion, unlike cheech and chong from back in the day, which i know was humor, but they portrayed potheads to be mindless fools.

it was ok.  i would have been better off waiting until it was on the movie channels. 

plus i wanted to smoke more halfway thru and couldnt.  theaters suck.

yeah i hear ya man, thats why i haven't been in a movie theater in almost 5 years now, i have learned to be patient. plus i just don't like getting in the middle of all the hype for new movies...i don't dig being in large crowds of people, unless of course all those people are naked chicks specifically there for my pleasure.

I just saw it.  It was exactly what I expected it to be: a pretty funny slapstick type stoner comedy.  It's not like it's an actual "good" movie, but it made me laugh my ass off at parts.
