Made a outdoor bed with Oak Ridge
    #8700200 -

Took a fully colonized very healthy BRF cake, which showed good rhizomorphic growth, dug a hole in a shaded area of the garden, put rocks down, a layer of composted grass clippings/african violet soil, then on that I crumbled the cake, made another layer of grass/ AV soil, then another layer of BRF cake, and covered it will soil from the hole I dug. Weather is supposed to be cloudy, low and high temps in between 50-80.

Ill keep this thread updated with pics if it fruits.

Should I be expecting anything from this single cake?

If the growth parameters are right, you should expect something. Good luck. I'll start your ratings.

The Oak Ridge strain.. 2nd gen. from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Suppose to be more potent than regular cubensis, but who knows. It colonized fast, in about a week it colonized. Have some other oak ridge jars that weren't quite as quick still incubating.

Thanks for the rating man.

EDIT: Oh yea, I took a little chunk of the cake near the verm layer of the same cake, and also planted it in a pot with a plant already growing, just for experimentation.
