Verry Verry interesting thing about these pictures. I actually drew them before I started getting high haha.

I like them. You should try to define your style more. For me what helps is not so much trying to draw something, just start sketching and see what comes of it. Art shouldnt be about guidelines or rules just what your soul conjurs on the paper. The colors are amazing. I love to see that people can still use colors. I should post some of my shit up so you know I have a idea on what I am talking about ha.

Well, speaking as someone who has
had his art exhibited: Don't put
your stuff out there for the world to see
if you can't take criticism.

It's that simple.

And my advice is sincere.

People have this unnatural aversion to being
'formally' trained in anything artistic that I really don't understand.

Learn to fight for yourself (and your 'art') and quit hiding in the shadows.

Fear of failure keeps many truly
creative young people at home circling
the drain of their closed circuit minds
as opposed to just:

Opening up.
Accepting advice.
Making mistakes.
Learning from mistakes.
And moving on to better things...

It's okay, I think i understand what you're saying know. I actually wanted to get criticism on these pieces because I felt they were lacking, and the only people who ever judge my work are my friends who, i feel, are bias (as in, just say it's pretty to make me feel good)

I wanted to have an understanding of what random people thought about it.

I know! I used to get pissed about it before. but now I don't really care if my friends are trying to be nice because I realized I'll never be able to tell the difference...unless I could read their mind. Which would be more of a curse than a gift.

It's like an insult really, like you'd just crumble from the weight of their opinion of you.

I used to hang around people like this and
the funny part is they'd all talk crazy, ruthless
shit behind each others backs
but never to the person's face.

Thank god I grew up and moved away from my family.
