This is kinda cool if you have a large iTunes collection
    #8658243 -

Rip a lot of tracks to iTunes and get "Track 1" "Unknown Artist" etc. This app will clean tracks by searching for meta data tags in most files. Then it will name it properly and grab artwork also. It does other stuff too but it's really nice to have this. The free version cleans 500 songs. The 20 dollar paid version is unlimited.

Your music collection is a mess. TuneUp fixes it.

You should be their spokesperson. That sounded just like a paid advertisement.

It is a good program, though. It's about time itunes is doing stuff to upgrade their software.

If the music I get doesn't already have all the necessary id3 info or album covers, I go ahead and fix it as soon as I put it on there.

It's half the fun.

I don't want a program to take that away from me. But thanks anyways.

Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box.

Yeah, idk why you would leave that shit as it is, it's very little trouble just to clean it up yourself.

Especially when you do it as soon as you import the music. Most of the stuff I get is from Torrent discographies so they do a pretty good job of including meticulous ID3 information and all album art.

The only things I really have to mess with is if I get live shows from Etree and convert them from .shn or .flac to mp3. When you do that you have to fill out all the ID3 stuff individually.

Amphetamines really help with that task.

I guess I'm lazy to want a program to do it for me. Besides I have thousands of songs that I just haven't gotten around to fixing and that would take me days. This was I can have it done in hours not days..plus I hate typing.

This might be good for me. There was a time when I edited all the track names and got the artwork but that became to laborious. :frown:

WINAMP

i don't use itunes but i'll install this later.

if it works you a god to me, because my music collection is completely disorganized, and i can't find anything without using winamp's search bar.

If it installs properly it will open with iTunes and you will see a logo and a "Connecting to Server" window. It will then run as a sidebar to iTunes. Highlight your tracks that are just "Track 1" shit. Then drag them to the Clean window and it takes a few moments but eventually you will be able to save artwork and everything, and I had tons of shit that needed cleaning and am now much more organized.
