Slightly Stoopid and Pepper

Anyone going to be seeing these two this summer? They are coming to NYC August 20, playing at the Roseland. I'm so excited. Just bought my ticket last night.

Musicians... a lot like sublime. they are AMAZING. I suggest you give them a listen. Slightly Stoopid, listen to the albums Chroncitis, and Everything You Need. Pepper, a good album is No Shame. You might know pepper from the song Give It Up:

"Why don't you have some dirty hot sex with me? It's not like I'm askin ya to give it up for free."

Slightly Stoopid is awesome to trip to.

Ya, I listened to the "Above the clouds" one. Not really my type of music but with the right visuals and lighting,(and some good shrooms) I can see myself tripping to them. To me they seem somewhat like ganga music but more like psychedelic  music. Or psychedelic with a little bit of ganga mixed in.

Slightly stoopid is one of my favorite bands. Ive got all their music jacked up on my zune and I be bumpin it constantly. :ooo:
I haven't seen them live yet but as soon as they're back in VA I'll try to.

I personally think their best album is Closer to the Sun, which wasn't mentioned above. If anyone wants to check out a few songs I recommend the following:

well as of now most of my stoopid experience is with chroncitis and everything you need. i need to start listening to closer to the sun. im not into their punk stuff as much though.

I saw them last year and their show was pretty meh. They played a lot of 'punk' songs which sucked.

yeah im definitely hoping they play some chill songs. like i said, i know all the songs from everything you need and chronchitis. im thinkin the fact that they are playing with pepper and other dub artists, they will play music of that type. would make sense that they do this.

im seeing them near philadelphia at the festival pier where 311 played last night, saw slightly stoopid when they came to allentown and had a great fucking time.

Saw them at Rothbury, they played a lot of punk, so we went to Derek Trucks instead.
