Whats the best way to get spots?!!!!!

Hello Mushroom lovers,
Question for you!!!!??? I want to know a tek that is best used to grow the Red/spotted cap cubensis. I ran across it in a Psilocybe book and I am so intrigued as to what type of enviroment it takes to grow them in. I know cow shits' involved, and a low carbon dioxide enviroment, but other than that there is no major info here on the shroomery about this certain type of cubensis. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanx

red cap with white spots? Are you sure you're not thinking of amanitas mushrooms? If so, there's no easy way to cultivate them because they need a symbiotic relationship with certain types of trees.

Spotted cap cubensis? Is there such a thing? Sounds like an amanita you saw.

Many, many cubensis have the tendency to have "spots" on the caps.

Amanitas, No man, I don't want to die!!!!! I want to trip theres a slight difference. I wish one of you guys had the book,Psilocybe Mushrooms and their Allies, Paul Stamets. If you did try looking on page 41, of this book. It shows a stumpy Red/white spotted cap, that ......OH yes>>>>>>>>>>is a Psilocybe... If someone can check it out !!! it's there.

Only way a cube could be red with spots is when its very young and has a few chunks of mycelium stuck to it, and a darker color than full grown.

the amanita muscaria..common name fly agaric. but it's not psychedelic =\ it has dysphoric effects, but after you come down you want more. siberian tribespeaople used to drink their own pee the next day because most of the active ingrediant, muscimol, was not even close to fully metabolized and would be in their urine so they could keep gettin high off one dose of them for a week or more.

well i was jsut clarifying which amanita everyone was thinking of...it's rather interesting really. it's been show to increase physical strength for the duration of the high too. it's a nifty lil thing to read up on if ever you feel like it, also it's legal and i've seen sites that sell it, never ordered though.
