Good dvd ripping program

I want to rip some dvds onto my comp, ive never done or attempted it,  but i know their must be some copyright loopholes, so what kinda program will do that all for me, or programs, i havent used nero in forever but does it do that?

Not sure, but here is the link to DVD decrypter...I ran into some problems with the encryptions, but it works fine and its free. You don't have to get the illegal version of it. =]

Defintely. Make sure you have nero7 though so it automatically jumps into burning if that is what your doing.

alright, actually i'm just throwing the dvd into my external hd to play on my ps3, so as long as they are in a avi/divx compatible format it should be perfect


oh and how long does it take to rip a dvd?

Well if you are just ripping to your comp like 20 mins maybe 30 add another 15 if you wanna write it to a blank disc.

Oh, you aren't trying to copy a DVD, you are trying to encode it to a DIVX format? Sorry, I misunderstood.

DVDFab then Nero with required plugins to convert to divX(version 7 is my favorite)

yea i just watch them on my ps3, i usually torrent movies, but since i have a small collection i just wanted to rip some on my comp to put them on the external harddrive just to store, but yea it has to be avi or divx compatible for the ps3 to support it

If you torrent movies then use the first link, and download it. Be sure to download the one with the converter as well. It has a converter after you rip it to convert it to play on your ps3/ipod anything.

They have special labels for psp/ ipod movies... mp4's.

You'd be surprised how difficult it is to make good quality rips. It's actually much easier to go and download them. If you really want to do it yourself, I suggest Auto Gordian Knot.
