moving out, underage alone laws, AZ

Hello all, just coming to ask a simple straight forward question about moving out alone in Arizona

well first, whats the legal age w/o any parental permission? I'm guessing 18 but I'm just wondering.

2nd, if you're under 18, what do you need to show to rent out an apartment or trailer, just a signature

any other advise/information about moving out along underage, would be awsome.

1. Get a fake ID, it will save a lot of hassle.
2. Get a shit ass apt, because it is all you will get with your fake ID, if they any sort of background checking, your fucked.
3. Your underage, and will be banned soon, sorry to say it.

Isn't for me, my sister wants to move out of my step moms house back in ohio, so she asked me. since i dont know im asking here

cool, anyways, fake ID or like LTF said, emancipation, its the only way without her parents assistance.  If i was a landlord, I wouldn't rent to someone under 18, unless their parents sign the contract too, unless they are a fully legal adult.

"Ohio has no emancipation law. Neither a minor (< 18) nor the minor's parent is able to file a petition for emancipation.

A minor can achieve independence from a parent in two ways:

1. Lawful marriage; or

2. Successful enlistment in any branch of the Armed Forces.

However, in the event of divorce or annulment, or discharge from the Armed Forces before the age of 18, custody of the minor will automatically revert to the parent who previously had custody over the minor."

In almost all state's (maybe all), it's illegal to contract with a minor.  HOWEVER, housing (shelter) is one of the exceptions where a contract can be upheld.  Nobody will rent to you though, although I know I managed.

If your/her parents don't enforce the custody (this leaves them liably susceptable), and you stay out of trouble, then the law should have no reason to get involved.

I guess ohio then, i was talking about AZ cause she wants to move out here, cause she wants to be closer to me and her other brother, and there is cheap appartments in town, unfortunally i couldnt take her in i could not afford it

im in Washington state and i moved out when both me and my girlfriend were 17. i wasnt emancipated either. i ended up renting a house my boss happened to have up for rent, so he knew the circumstances. however, i had few other options to live they just were more expensive. there are landlords out there who will rent to minors if you get them to trust you enough. tell them your story and look as responsible and on your feet as you can.

I'm already out of my house im 26 personally ;] about 3-4 post down i explained that this was information for my sister, who wants to move out of my step moms house out here to AZ but i cant take her in personally
