so i was planning on sneaking in with my girlfriend, but after getting some information out of the people at the county planning comission where the fest was being held as well as pulling up whatever maps i could find on the property... we decided that it just wouldnt work out and decided that we werent going last night....

this morning, a friend calls and tells me that if i blow $150 worth of glass ware (pipes and pendants and what not) i can trade it to a friend of his for 2 tickets to get in!

a sweet deal, i know.

but im torn, i was kind of glad i wasnt going, as im tired as fuck and just want to chill for a while, im just totally and completely fucking exhausted.... and i just dont know what im going to do.

i went to the store and bought so oxygen tanks, so i could blow the glass if i so chose, but i just dont know if i really should go.......... delema...

I think it's pretty unanimous.  You don't have to come and party like it's your job all weekend.  You can come and just chill out in the campground, take a few naps and see the bands that you really want to see.

If you dont' come you are going to be missed!!  :frown:

My advice is to find those things that give pleasure and do them often without too much attachment and relax and wait for the show to end.

I like free markets and all. Truly I do, at least in general, but there needs to be some kind of oversight in recognition of sustainability. Life works the same way, on a bunch of sustainable systems. Why not honor what made us what we are and take some lessons? Nature FTW!

I wasn't feeling too great at all at the NE 08 gathering, but I still hung out and chilled. It can be done.

I ate a ahitload of ecstasy at Bonaroo one night and felt like complete shit the next day.  The cool thing about music fests is that you can just lay back at your campsite and chill while some great music is playing in the background.
