I'm at a cross roads

You ever get stuck cuz you got to make a decision but your stuck because you've no idea what the best way to go is?

I've decided I'm leaving the place I'm at now.  I'm bored of it, the nightlife sucks and theres a male to female ratio of about 15-1 so its impossible to find a decent GF.  Most my friends here don't come out anymore because they are practically married and have children.

Its silly to ask other people what I should do, I know but maybe you guys can help :tongue:

I've known its been coming so I've saved lots of money up so finance is not an issue heres my ideas so far...

1.  Just change location, goto the city, get a good job and a good GF & new friends
2.  Go backpacking around my country, live hobo style, just hit the road with a tent and see what happens
3. Travel Europe, hosteling around Europe on my own
4. Rent a cheap apartment in Spain - I really like Spain + cost of living is dirt cheap but I don't speak any Spanish yet.
5.  Learn to drive, get a camper van and travel in that (doesn't seem like a great idea as I haven't passed my test yet and the cost of fuel etc is through the roof)

Thats what I got so far but which road to take?  They are all scary when your all alone.:sad:

I know how too, I just can't be arsed to spend thousands for the privilege.

If you actually add up the cost its insane.
Lessons
Theory test fee
Actual test fee (until passed)
license fee
Tax
Insurance
Ongoing crazy fuel fees
Cost of car itself
Ongoing maintenance costs

I'm not wasting all my money on that shit!  I'd just get a bus :crazy:

Fuck driving, it's not needed. Try living in the city. It seems all the things you are looking for can be found there.

As for your original question, the only thing I'd feel comfortable recommending is that you just go to a new city.  But before you do, are you sure you can't just work to change your life where you already are?

Personally, if you have the balls to pack everything up and move  else where then the city is your best option.

I would love the courage to just leave everything behind and start from scratch somewhere else.
