I didn't buy it, but I once saw a bag that was an ounce in a single nug (with the tip broken off, even).  The stem weighed something like 8 grams.

I wouldnt say thats completely true, yea if you get a big scraggly bud it is but a thick top bud every piece you break off is thick and got good light as opposed to lower branches that didnt and buds are premature and fluffy.

and sometimes smaller branches, when
you brake those smaller buds down,
you'll probably find some smaller ones

Yea I understand that a big bud is smaller buds shrunk together I was just saying I'd rather have tops than premature popcorn buds.

sometimes those 'premie popcorns' were part of those 'tops', I'd
rather pay for weed than buy lumber at a much more inflated
price than Home Depot sells it for, I mean really, do you want
to pay $120 for a QB or $100 because that huge stem really jacks
the price of the weed up after you've cleaned it


I bought an OZ of shake from my dealer because everyone else
wanted those huge colas, no seeds, no stems, who do you think
got the better deal when all the little trichomes were in my sack?

A premie is not a broken up top cola man you can argue with me all you want.  Of course I would rather the dealer break apart the tops for me and take out the stem Im trying to say I dont want those little tiny buds that are mostly leaves with a few orange hairs and no thickness that result from not getting enough light. As for shake yea I'd take shake any day if its just broken down smaller crystaly pieces of bud but more time than not its the poorly manicured leaves that are prone to fall off buds and make shake at the bottom of the bag.  Not trying to argue but there is a big differnce between broken up thick colas and premies.
