Actually, he was on acid. He's done shows on other drugs as well, and admitted to it. Mainly he just gets drunk during his shows. It's not to be "cool", he's done plenty of acid in his time. If you weren't such a tool you'd know its not that hard to function on a low to moderate dose of LSD.

Again, if you had actually listened to or seen more of his stand up then the 5 minute clip I just posted and actually had the slightest clue what you were talking about, you might know this. Of course, you'll just continue to be the moron that gives opinions when they don't know shit. There's a reason why no one likes you here apparently, you're an idiot.

Why are you defensive over me saying he sucks? Do you ride his nuts that much that you can't take it when someone doesnt find his lame ass done a thousand times before "controversial" jokes? And mods why do I get banned for calling someone a fag but yet this guy has called me a faggot countless times in this thread but yet nothing happens?

What I said is that A) you're acting like you have an accurate opinion of what Doug Stanhope's stand up is like after hearing 5 minutes of it and acting like you've heard other shows and B) no one here likes you so who gives a shit what your opinions are anyway. As for calling you a faggot "countless times", that's obviously bullshit if you quickly review the posts. From what I've seen, you've used to word "fag" or "faggot" numerous times, and I used it once where I called you a faggot for posting that to begin with.

Okay, anybody saying they don't like Doug Stanhope, just go onto Google Video or YouTube and watch one of his ENTIRE performances, not just a little clip. It's hard to get his stuff when it's out of context like this.

Trust me and check out one of his full performances. It's worth it. If you watch the whole thing and still don't like him, then I'll accept that. Otherwise, it's like you're only looking at one square inch of a painting and saying the artist sucks.

I have only ever seen clips of Bill Hicks and from what I have seen in this thread....Hicks owns Stanhope.

I never once even smiled listening to Stanhope.

Stanhope desperately sounds like he wants to be Bill Hicks, as most of his material is classic Hicks stuff.... just redone, and not very well.
