Comedian Doug Stanhope performing comedy while admitting to being under the influence of LSD.



For those of you who may be unfamiliar with his work he also was on The Man Show with Joe Rogan after the Kimmel/Corolla era. Doug Stanhope is one of my favorite comedians and I think one of the most underrated out there.

Im just not a 13 year old who praises someone because they say "acid" or "ecstacy" in their bit. DOUG STANHOPE SUCKS!!!!!!!! I couldnt even muster up a forced laugh. And yes I have seen lots of his stand up and gave him a chance to be funny but he sucks.

You've defiantly never heard any of his other shit if that is your opinion on him. You're obviously a fucking loser, who tries to act like they know what they're talking about from the safety of a monitor on the internet. First of all, if you had actually listened to his other bits, he openly talks about experiences with mushroom and ecstasy in a comedic way, but also expressing their benefits to the crowd. How many other comedians out there can you name that openly defend psychedelics and their positive uses you fucking dip shit?

Anyway enough with this fucking tool bag, maybe I'll get around to posting some of his other shit later on for everyone else to enjoy.

Yes he's really on acid. In another show of his I've seen he discusses the amount of acid he did during his 20s and how (making fun of the LSD deformed baby propaganda of the 60's) his sperm was poisoned. He's actually fucking hilarious, and a cool shit as well.

Yeah, that was a pretty badass show.

I think I actually preferred the combo of Rogan and Stanhope to Kimmel and Corolla. But that's mainly because I think Adam Corolla's a bit of a douche.

Jimmy Kimmel was the Man Show. Corolla was a faggot and when stanhope and rogan took over it was just not funny. Kimmel might be a fag now but back then he was funny as hell.

I liked both casts of The Man Show, but I've got to agree, the Rogan / Stanhope combination was amazing. They both now have hilarious stand up acts on their own. Joe Rogan is another highly underrated stand up comedian.

edit to add: I feel great the day after acid usually. It's can be an almost negative hangover effect. Though to be fair, I guess different people will have different reactions, but still...

So basicaly what it comes down to is he wasnt on acid maybe a bit drunk and wanted to play it up to the younger crowd that "drugz r kewl please clap and think I'm funny". Can one person in this thread honestly say that they even laughed a little during that clip?
