ok, here's this kinda beatnik-type verse i wrote the other day... out of curiosity, are there any other peeps out there that write a bunch of senseless shit, then later read it over and over and somehow come up with a deeper meaning? anyway, lemme know what you guys think...

7 BUTTON EXCURSION

Circular motion responding in inactivity
Takes to the next level a sense of beauty
And raises consciousness of life

New forms of new scorn
Shake the foundation of brain
Insane
Let it go and it will show you the way

Though you don’t see the path
It’s always been beneath you
With no markers along the way
Following blindly causes disdain
So play
Like it’s all laid out before
All you have to do is continue to walk
Through doors

7 button sticks to the roof of house
sing the song of sixpence with gun in mouth
do a little jig with broken legs
spare a mans life when kneeling begs

sticks make up the body
portion hands feet knarled
grip tightens the reins of
pleasure and pain
seek fame
disdain

more than meets the brain
make up street beat
quicken feet
bigger better more elite

get set for stress
make mess
mind over body is mental sex
collision of wills is like car wrecks

the fortune of the power minded
brings home the bacon
the action of the fraction
brings change to the makin’
continue the tradition
never thought forsaken
