Are these oysters??

I found these today while hunting on a farm. They were growing on a log. Here is a pic. I didnt have my camera with me when I found them so....... But here they are in my sink. What do you think?

Spore print should be white. I just eat em raw but thats just me im not too good at cooking i leave that too my wife. Peace

Yeppers, Pleurotus. Sautee them on medium with butter for 10-20 mins. Add chopped garlic during the last 5 minutes or so of sauteeage. Eat.

found about a million of these while i was fishing today... didn't catch any fish (would've had about a 2' trout but my dad was fishing right behind me and our lines got tangled when i was hauling it in)... still, got about 3 lbs. of these :smile:

looks more like angel wings to me. pleurotus porrigens. Just as edible though tougher, more rubbery, requires longer cooking time than ostretus
