Mmm, I must say, stranded on a desert island and all, The Bends and Kid A certainly stand out, and I'd probably say The Bends all in all.

If you like Radiohead you should check out a band called Easy All Stars. They did a tribute album to Radiohead called Radiodread. Its cool hearing Radiohead as reggae. They also did a tribute to Pink Floyd called Dub Side Of The Moon. Another good one.

I must not Fear. Fear is the mindkiller . Fear is the little-death that
brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and
through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. ONLY I WILL REMAIN.

I still haven't decided.
And I know it's a sin, but I have never actually "owned" a copy of The Bends, so my familiarity with it is pretty low.
I like Hail to the Thief (listening to it right now as it comes after Amnesiac on my iTunes) more than most it seems. I credit this to the fact that it got me into Radiohead.

I remember being younger and my brother talking about them and telling me I probably wouldn't like them. I think it was OK Computer he was listening to at the time and he was right, I didn't dig it. Then a few years ago (more like 6 or 7 now) I was digging through his CDs to find something to throw on whilst playing Diablo 2 over winter break and I stumbled upon Hail to the Thief and decided to throw it on. Loved 'em ever since.

I think I like OK Computer and Amnesiac the most, it's so fucking hard to say though. Pablo Honey doesn't really do it for me, I can definitively say that is my least favorite.

Kid A, with In Rainbows (can I just say again how much I hate that title) coming close second.

Paplo Honey is most peoples least favorite

Wow....so many good records to choose from!!! I'd probably have to put OK Computer at the top of the list, followed by Kid A for a close second (and then The Bends....).

i really disliked hail to the thief because it seemed so negative. and i had loved how radiohead was evolving into something weird with amnesiac, and then it just twisted into something else :frown:

Not sure if you all have heard it but there is a copy of OK Computer on torrent sites encoded at 24bit / 96khz from a vinyl that sounds amazing.

They were unhappy with the way HTTT turned out as well...just curious, how do you feel about In Rainbows?

i felt like in rainbows was a return to their more traditional tracks.

i only like a couple songs per cd of theirs, but i'm somewhat fanatical about those i like.

spinning plates, revolving doors, everything in its right place.

so i found in rainbows kind of bland.
