Just beginning, will be done on cinco de mayo, when I have a spanish test. yay.

I really hate finals. I think by the end of the semester the professor has gotten enough input from me to know I understand everything and should just assign a grade.

I'm in a bunch of tiny discussion classes and the exams really piss me off. I wish we had alternative assessment. Like a capstone project or a presentation. Two of my classes are doing this but the others are going to drive me up a tree.

Last semester I didn't do as well as I would have liked on the exams but they cut me some slack and I got a's. I hope that happens again.

I completely agree, and think this myself.

Actually, I hate the whole concept of grades to begin with. I honestly would learn so much more if it weren't for grades. I think I would have the mindset of, "hey this is actually interesting, I want to learn it!" rather than "ugh, I need to learn this stuff so I can do well on the test."

Of course, there are some classes I love so much it doesn't matter. Music, for example.
