Reverse-munchies

It seems like when I'm really hungry and smoke weed before I eat, it makes the hunger pangs a lot less noticeable.

Like today, for instance. I got done with my morning Bio lab and went to subway and got a full meal to eat when I got home. On the way home from subway I smoked a bowl and noticed that if I didn't eat it probably wouldn't matter because I didn't feel hungry anymore.

This happens quite a bit, and I often forget about it because I'm stoned. I still eat, just not all the time.

anybody else experience anything like this?

I've experienced that, but it's more like a delay. An hour or so later you face the compound issue of overdue hunger pangs AND the munchies, and then all hell breaks loose. Or you eat something.

Like someone mentioned earlier, it only delays your hunger for an hour or two before the munchies kick in!

yea i find that I'm not usually that hungry until I think of food or someone mentions it, then the munchies are unleashed

when i smoked weed it killed my appetite. then i quit smoking, and put on about 15 pounds.

Yeah, most times when high I don't feel hungry. Mixing cannabis with green tea makes diminishes the hunger pangs even more.

Only two hours... after I smoke I'm only high for 2 hours...  I don't know if I'd call it munchies kicking in, so much as hunger repression wearing off.

I've definately experienced this phenomenon.  I'll get home after a long day, starving.  I sit down to smoke a bowl intending to make something to eat immediately afterwards. Then once I'm high, I'm not hungry anymore, and I end up putting off eating for an hour or two. :shrug:

Nah man, quite the opposite. As stressed and busy as I am these days, I sometimes I just forget to eat for a day or two. And I wonder why I have trouble with maintaining a stable weight.

Bud ALWAYS makes me hungry. I'll eat some weird shit when I smoke too.
