I think in essence the universe is beyond human comprehension. How does something come from nothing? Or on the other hand how can you understand something which is infinite with no beginning and no end. I really don't understand how reality exists and i don't think anyone ever will.

Humans act like weeds. You know when you place a foreign species into an environment it has no natural predators? Humans are just like that. We behave like a foreign introduced species. Thats why we upset the balance so much.

Lol well thats my crazy idea about aliens. Don't know if even i believe it but i find it an interesting thought.

I believe that no one knows what the fuck they're even talking about!

Science is too fluid to bank on, and religion seems to be trying to prove something all the time. They're both just a bunch of people that think they know what they're talking about and try to persuade everyone that they do, WHEN THEY REALLY DON'T.

There always seems to be a counter to every argument so fuck it! No one knows, and that's what people should start realizing and just live in fucking harmony already damn it! That's what I think founders of religions were getting at and a bunch of pompous assholes try to be right all the time and taint the message with their selfish motives. No one gives a fuck how right you are! Think what you want and keep it to your damn self!

Science and religion work hand in hand, religions all work hand in hand, so people should all work hand in hand. Think about it!

I think science will eventually prove religion.

Science is simple man's observations and tests. The best kind of data is empirical.

science has explained the physiology of almost every part of this planet, you say they are wrong?

we know why there are seasons, waves, so much shit about the human body, WHERE humans came from, where other animals came from

seems like the scientists know a lot more than the religious so how can you say they are dead wrong?

I'm saying that science doesn't disprove anything.

BTW even scientists can't get along with each other. They are all very smart and still can't come to a compromise. I'm not referring to biology either, I'm talking about cosmology. That seems to be the underlying basis of everyone's reactions to the thread.

Science and religion are the same thing if you ask me. They both search for the truth, and they both want to know what happened, whats happening, and what is going to happen. There is so much more in my head about it, but they both are not separate, just looking at different sides of the same coin. That coin brings me to a one word explanation of what it is we are trying to figure out. God.
