The Stranger by Albert Camus

You should read this book. It's only like 130 pages for those with a short attention span. My favorite book.

You should try *The myth of Sisyph(us)* by Camus, it is outstanding. Better than *The Stanger* in my opinion... but it is not a novel. And it is short too!

Yeah, I've heard of it before but I'll probably go read it now. This is a pretty good page about Camus

Sysiphus was indeed better.
I also like Sartre's - "The Respectful Prostitute"

All these works are One Act / Short Plays, thats why they 'seem' short.

The Aneiad was a Play too.

I hated The Stranger. Although I never read it, I read the cliff notes for school. It was awful. But I guess I didnt give it much of a chance.

Just finished 'Exile and the Kingdom' and 'The Fall'. Both were decent, but 'The Stranger' (my translation calls it 'The Outsider') remains one of my faves. How about The Plague? Longer than the others, but more than worth it.
