yes, I think i'd give up on life if they dared to desecrate the zelda franchise. However, I have to admit that I think they could do something wicked with an all CGI zelda. Something along the lines of interstella 5555 (diff. music and setting of course!) I'd hate to see some total lame-ass in the role of Link like Patrick Swayze or Vince Vaughn! :heart:

If this is an april fools joke it's in pretty bad taste.

I don't know why so many of you guys are resentful towards a Legend of Zelda movie... I know that they butchered lots of our classic and Relics video games (Super Mario, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil and Mortal Kombat with the sequels) , but nevertheless, such a movie could be interesting.

If the producers take their time in choosing the right actors, in writing a killer script, in producing amazing props, in choosing the ideal landscapes.. AND if they hear and understand carefully what the gamers and fans expect, we could have one hell of a masterpiece produced.

Saying that the movie will ultimately be a flop whatever happens and that Ganondorf looks gay will kill off our chances of having a gargantuan and solid movie about a video game that MARKED OUR LIVES forever (Haha maybe that's saying much, but it's the truth for me).

Wouldn't you want to show it to your kids and teach them about the little boy who nobody believed in that changed the fate and future of an entire kingdom forever?
