Sida Cordifolia Update: (PIC)
    #1438869 -

I have found they can handle direct sun light as long as the soil does not fully dry.

They are producing nice large leafs, which make a very nice simulating tea! -- Stronger than expected based on stated ephedrine content.

Out of the seeds you sent me onl one germinated out of ten.. But I still have some left!! Can't wait until it grows!! Do you think we can make cuttings with them??? Oh, and any tips for germination? I soaked them in water for 12 hour and planted them under a thin layer of soil, and the only seed that germinated was on the top.. so I did a few other, on the top, and nothing yet, but I'll wait!!
see ya!

Hi psylo33o

To be honest I can?t remember how I treated the seeds. Some took a lot longer than others. All my seeds were planted just under the soil surface. They germinated in a small propagator. The soil was kept damp. I also used a soil with a high content of sand.

I would soak them in water after light scarifying (sake them with some sand), not to mush though.

Cuttings should be easy once they start branching.

Update again, these are huge. I can take one leaf of every plant to make several teas and they grow one back within a week. Note the CD for size reference.
