Divx Streaming Site

Hey just wanted to post a new Divx streaming site I found... I almost cried when stage6 went down, but this site is almost as good.

I burn all my divx movies to a dvd r and watch em on my big screen via xbox 360... you can fit like 7 divx movies on one disc :smile:

is it possible to download a stream,
so you could potential burn it to dvd?

Yeah... once the stream has fully loaded... just right click in the video screen and choose save video as... that easy

or you could just click the download button under the vid too

I just like divx because the xbox plays em

Wait.. is this like stage6.. where you'll be able to upload videos? I didn't see that option anywhere..

You can upload to exterior sites (such as www.flyupload.com) and then you link back to divxlinks, hence the name. Thanks for the heads up SaintDunsmere! +5

As well,

If it is a stream in a DivX Player (and you DO have a DivX Player installed on your system), you go to the "Perferences" tab in the menu, and somewhere in there you can change it so that it downloads anything that is streamed through a DivX Player.

The First time you download one this way, you will notice that it has a strange file extention to it " .part " .
Once the movie has fully buffered through, and your SURE that it is done just right click on it, and select "Open with DivX Player" (and make sure that the box is selected so that you don't have to do this everytime.
It will now have a little icon that looks like a piece of paper, with a tiny little DivX logo in the middle.

Copy the file out of the DivX Temporary Download folder, and you can do whatever you want with it. Watch it, Burn it, Back it up...whatever.

Yeah I would not recommend going to that site anymore... they added that Zango adware crap.

I run "SpyBot Search and Destroy".
It blocks any running script on a webpage, and cookies, malicious scripts...whatever.
Haven't had any problems since i put it in.....it's just another layer of protection.
