Just fired up a hookah...

Of real Shisha tobacco, coals, the works.  A German friend that works at Geek Squad with me showed me what a real hookah smoke is like, even sold me an older hookah for $40 that sits about 3' high, swivels, and hits like a champ.  To clear it all I have to do is blow into the hose and the ball bearing prevents water from flying through.

I LOOVE the grape flavored Al-Waha brand tobacco.  Sometimes I'll mix a bit of mint with it to give it a bit of a kick.  The tobacco alone smells good enough to eat :lol:  For those who aren't familiar, it's molasses based and contains no tar.  It smells just like fresh grapes, and tastes even better.  The coals let the tobacco burn for a good half-hour to forty-five minutes before going bad.  I've only ever had mint, grape, and mixed fruit.  Can any hookah enthusiasts recommend other flavors?

Sounds like a nice hookah.
My favorite flavors are peach, bannanna, strawberry, lemon, and orange.:thumbup:

Nice. You know what? Hookahs are really good for smoking shitty weed. You load it up mainly with tobacco and then put a generous sprinkling of crap weed on the sticky shit and the high ends up being way more pleasurable than if you smoked the brick weed straight through a pipe.

I noticed that.  A sweet, easy, fruity blend.  You smoke it for an hour then all of a sudden you're like, "Wow...I'm high."  :lol:  It just kinda sneaks up on ya.

Yeah, it's swell, really. I visited my buddy in Pittsburgh for a week and we got a ton of absolute schwag for dirt cheap and got awesomely high. :thumbup:

Quick lights suck in my opinion, they smell horrible and depending on the brand, can add a funny taste to the shisha, japanese coals rock! My favorite flavors are dreamsicle and caramel macchiato, can't find em in any local head shops so I buy from the hookah lounge on campus. I think I'll fire some up right now.

nice hookah I got the same one but with 4 hose. Al waha is okay. Try buying some al fakhar gold pack, best stuff ive EVER had and ive smoked a lot of shisha. In my opinion the quicklites don't burn as hot(really depending on brand) and don't last as long. I always go with silvers

I don't mean to ruin your party, BUT, I think you should know,

ALL tobacco contains "no tar," UNTIL it is LIT!

The whole "no tar" thing is just a marketing thing to make it seem safer... smoking hookah isn't really safer at all than smoking any other tobacco...

That being said, I still love to smoke a nice bowl of shisha every now and then :sun:
