SXSW

Played a private gig today at SXSW in Austin. The guy from American Pie that makes the speech about losing their virginity was there, really dug our sound, and Last Vegas, a rock band featured in Guitar Hero 2 were there. As well as a bunch of big names in Austin, made some bad-ass connections. Then walked around drinkin for free and gettin stoned on 6th street, what did yall do today?

ahah you had a better day than me for sure
one of my friends who works for pitchfork got to go down there with everything payed for. envious
as for me: went to 5 hours of straight class, went home, watched lock stock and two smoking barrels whilst cooking, and now writing up a lab module dealing with antioxidants in food
first time actually doing real research, its a bitch, but better than just following following a lab book

thats cool, college was fun for a while, but I'm glad I chose to do what I'm doin now. Think I'm gonna go watch Van Morrison play here in a lil while....

Ahh man have a blast.. i wish i was there! My friend just told me 5 min ago hes going down tomorrow and i was angry he didnt invite me! lol nahh but have a blast for me!

hey I dont disagree
honestly I dont dig all those indie bands or whatever, kind of sound the same to me with exception of a few
and working for pitchfork he does somewhat come off as a music elitist, when it comes to music our tastes differ vastly
nonetheless he is a cool guy
