the hell with the cops, they get paid whether they help you or not.

People are much more afraid of lawyers, and they do as their client asks, lest they not receive money.

There's really nothing wrong with calling the cops if someone is committing a malicious crime and you're the victim, but it's not worth your hassle or the cops' hassle if it's not a serious problem, or isn't an easily proved crime. Neighbor stealing from you? Call the cops. Neighbor yelling at you and banging on your door? No cops, no point really... at best they'll speak with him, warn him, and go away... then refuse to come back unless he's in the act and he's either extremely disruptive or he's being threatening to someone's wellbeing. It's really not their job to make someone stop being an asshole, nor is it really in their power.

This thread really baffles me. You seriously sit inside your apartment while these dooshbag POUNDS your door? I have two ways i'd snitch on someone

1) They snitched on me first for something I did, or snitched on me for something they did (bitching out and blaming me so they wouldn't get in trouble)

2) Doing something completely assholeish... and I mean totally assholish... like someone steals your laptop or fucks you over hardcore intentionally... To me, that's as bad as getting snitched on so you deserve to get yours

I'm just gonna tell him it isn't me and that I know who it is but wont tell him and if he is too stupid to figure it out thats his problem, even though I don't know. I'm not gonna call the cops but I will explain the situation to my landlord if they ask. When I do smoke pot I take it to the bedroom in the back and close the door, I don't smoke joints so it wont stink as much. Plus I burn incense so they can't smell it, he ALWAYS says something if it smells like pot. I just renewed my lease I'm stuck here till next year.

people seem to be also miss understanding that i haven't been smoking at least some of them don't seem to. Last time he came to my door about it before all this was months ago like the fall. Now it's not me. I'm gonna talk to him before the landlord, because I'm not gonna have the cops come to my door for something I'm not doing, I've never been arrested or charged with anything not even as a minor and I would like to keep it that way. I don't have anything much expect bowls which are now packed away. The growing chambers are took apart and just look like storage containers, I threw junk in them to make it look like nothing.
