Any cardio lovers here??
    #8075314 -

After building up for 4 months, I've been able to do 1 hour on the eliptical machine 4 times in the past week. I've kept my heart rate in my target zone for 50 minutes of that and near the upper ends for nearly a half an hour of that.

I'm beat and my legs are worn out, but I LOVE this. I've been off and on about cardio all my life, but I am sleeping so deep and feel so peaceful that words can't really do it justice.

Anyone else really get into this kind of stuff in here??

Me me me! I love walking an hour fasted every morning. I'll sprint near the end of it, too, but limit it because it isn't targetting my goals. But it's fun.

Yep, cardio is great.

I've started working out in the past months, but only recently started REALLY TRYING to gain some muscle. Cardio/abs are every other day - and i enjoy them.

Last winter i decided to shed my munchie lbs (i was 5'9" ~175). I didn't look fat, since all my weight was in my stomach, and i only wear T-Shirts.

I bought a bike trainer (so i can ride my bike inside) - and got on it for 60min/day for most days. Lost 30lb in 6weeks. Chronic!

I looooooooove exercising. I just bought a protein powder called "Muscle Milk" it is yummmmmmmmy!

I run 35 miles a week.

I've only recently got into running.  In fact, I just bought some nice running sneaks that I haven't had a chance to thoroughly test yet.  I think I'll run tomorrow and do some core work.

I'm not into the long distance, run for an hour type of running.  I like to warm up with a mile run at a brisk pace  and sprint the last two laps.  Then, I will go get a drink, stretch, etc. while my heart rate levels back out.  Then I do something like:

I: jog 2 laps, sprint 2
=> chill for a minute
II: jog 2 laps, sprint 2
=> chill for a minute
III: jog 2 laps, sprint 2
=> chill for a minute

I guess you could call this interval training.  It is effective, and will blow your fucking gaskets if you push.  Sometimes I feel weird because I'll be balls to the walls sprinting on the indoor track, and there will be all these girls walking together talking to each other (WTF?) and I'm dodging them and shit.

These new shoes should boost my performance 200% :tongue:.  My old shoes were by no means running shoes.

etc., until I'm beat.

I run distance for calorie burn. For my exercise I do about 45 minutes a day of Escalating Density Training

....and I do Qi Gong for meditation.

I have just very recently got into running. I am taking up jogging. I got a great pair of shoes.

Anyway, I started this the day after I quit smoking. To my shock I was able to jog a whole mile! I have not been able to do that ever without walking for periods of time, even in grade school. So of course this was very encouraging. I am now up to 1.5 miles. I know that's nothing really but it is progress and my goal is to be able to jog 5 miles.

Anyway, it is absolutely awesome! Lime MOTH says it keeps the crazies away for sure. I feel so good right now its unbelievable.

I jog 15 miles a week and hit the indoor pool for some laps. I sometimes hoop it up with the brothers or play indoor soccer with the bro-inlaw and his buds. I just love that part when you're doing cardio and in that "zone."

Your body says STOP, but some little demon in your head says GO FASTER.  That's the only reason I look forward to cardio.
