Well I'm sorry to hear that owls.
Regardless, many of us are using substances that increase the heart rate (even marijuana does this). I was just wondering if there was something beneficial about it. I for one don't experience irregular heartbeat from any substances and don't use any substances on a daily basis. So I imagine it's not terribly unhealthy.
That still leaves the question: Do vasodilators lower cholesterol?

I take 20mg adderal twice a week and sometimes on those days I go for 5-6 mile runs. Definitely easier then normal, spoke to several docs and it's pretty much harmless as long as you stay within your own physical boundaries, I run 5 miles all the time so on adderal it doesn't make much of a difference, and its a pretty small dose and it's not frequent so it's virtually harmless.
And yes, it ups your metabolism so technically I think you would lose weight even if you didn't exercise... but whenever i'm on it I always WANT to be physical anyways so I guess in theory it would work... but again every body is different so who knows
And also, I feel perfectly fine when exercising on adderal... no irregular heartbeat or anything... just a little more ampy then usual, infact I like going for runs on my adderal days because it makes it much easier to sleep when I do.

Have you ever monitored your hart rate when running that distance on adderall? My max heart rate is 196, when I go for distance and for speed I get my heart rate up to 190 easily. I have hit 206 when going for a PR and it felt like my heart was going to burst. I can imagine that adderall would push it higher than that.

No, that means that the veins/capilarries(sp) relax/expand, there are other factors involved, but it will generally lower your BP. Cholesterol is a fatty substance in your blood.

nope. the amount of calories being used from just your heart moving would be little. very little. You wouldnt lose weight jus cuz of that.

But you would because of the increase in metabolism caused by stimulants such as adderal. Just be careful though, it isn't a miracle drug and comes with serious problems if not used properly.

I've been a stim addict for a couple years. It has fucked up and damaged my heart. I get frequent weakness, tightness and pain if I go overboard with my stimulant use now, and overboard for me means a single night with a dose too many, when several days used to be possible. I'm cutting it out of my life mostly now, because of the heart issue only. Very stupid idea to link stims with being benefecial for your health in any way.

Coming from the person who used the stimulants in a very stupid way. There's such a thing as too many vitamins too, but it doesn't mean that vitamins are universally bad for your health.

Nah, you're idiotic to think it will excersize your heart in a way to make it healthier. "Yeah, I'll take some drugs and build strength by not doing anything!". It's preposterous. Ask your family doctor if taking stimulant drugs is reccomended for heart health. Most, if not all in some degree are CARDIOTOXIC.

I never assumed that, I asked it. It is however nonsense to assume something is unconditionally bad for you, just because you abused the shit out of it.
