This is a post for GGreat234, He lives in Southern Fla.To answer your question, you chances aren't that bad for finding cubensis in Fla. this time of year. Its definately not as good as it will be in a few months, but they're still out there. You need to go check the fields. Even if you don't find anything, you can scope out fields, and learn how to access them so you'll be ready for spring. Get your self a mushroom field guide, and look for Copelandia Cyanescens also. From what I understand they're fairly abundant in southern Fla. depending on the paticular field. [

You can find Cubensis in southern Florida this time of year. Do what the Lizard said, go check out your local field(s) of Coconut Creek. Eventually you will find one with what youre looking for. Happy Hunting.

Hey bomb,
I picked these shrooms about a hour ago. They are all pretty small compared to the ones I have normally been finding, but I think that a dozen of them should suffice for tomorrows Total Lunar Eclipse. Some of the ones near the bottom of the picture had already begun to dry out when I found them, but they dont have any damage from bugs on the caps, so I would say that they are still good. If the weather is in cooperation with the viewing of tomorrows eclipse, I will be posting them here at the shroomery. Until then, TheGreatOne
