trade rant

so I was buying something from a fellow shroomerite, and I just so happened to get banned before I ever had the chance to copy down his address...BUT...I had also just then told him that the check would be in the mail on Monday, and he had assured me that he trusted me and that he would be sending his package out the same time (i.e. he knew that I'd certainly send the money, so he decided to go ahead and send it out prior to actually recieving payment)

now...here's where things get tricky:
  • I got banned before I could copy down his address
  • I recieved my package before the ban had ended
  • I sent my payment to the return address that was given
  • my ban ended / I got back online / and found out the return address was a fake
so now I'm gonna havta pay twice because I sent my initial payment to a fake address  :nonono:

it was a money order actually...and I can't cancel it and get it replaced without the stub (which, obviously, I didn't hang on to)



it's just a lesson I learned the hard way because of my own stupidity really  :shrug:

You're an idiot for believing somebody would put their real return addy on a package with questionable shit in it. Well I'm guessing there was questionable things in the package or his real return addy would have probably been on it.

Did you put your real return address on the letter so that it will get returned to you since the address was fake?
Makes sense that if the letter is undeliverable, it is returned to sender right?

So you didn't know someones address cause you got BANNED, and sent a money order to an addy you were GUESSING would be his, THREW AWAY the money order stub, and put a FAKE address on your letter so it would never be returned, failing to realize that drug people usually use fake return addy's which YOU DID ALSO just like everyone else.

We will call this Stupid Tax, don't breed, please.

I hope he gives you a bad trade rating honestly, because none of this was his fault at all. You agree'd to pay for something, and thankfully eventually paid him for it...but poor man had to wait for a while longer because of your stupidity.

Don't feel bad though, you're not alone.

google the fake addy you sent it too, get the phone number, call the people & tell them your kids put the wrong addy on the envelope, and ask for it back
