Liberty Reserve - confused by e money

#7976004 - 02/04/08 01:42 AM (18 years, 8 months ago)

I want to buy some parts but the seller only accepts Liberty Reserve.

I go on their site and it says I have to use another site to exchange the money.

Its confusing. The parts only cost $40 so whats the cheapest way to get money from my bank into this Liberty Reserve?

I think its an e-gold type site (except they claim to be more stable), you have to get your $$ changed into egold (or in this case "LR"), and then you trade using it. LR acts as the escrow, but not as the exchanger.

Yeah thanks,
seems like a right pain in the ass.

They also all take a cut of your $$ along the way.

I've mailed the company to see if I can do a direct transfer.
