Its crazy just to walk around in the wilderness in that game, the landscape is gigantic. Theirs so many herbs and mushrooms you can pick to make potions and shit.

I'm hoping this is like Baldur's Gate on steroids. I love how open ended and non-linear games like that can be while at the same time allow you to go right back into the main storyline.

Also I do not want to spoil anything but there is a quest about halfway through the Mages guild that has a lot of psychedelic elements to it, I found it to be really funny at the time. I did all of the thieves guild, the mages guild and then dark brotherhood. Never did beat the main quest past Kvatch (second portal) :rofl:

its a whole other world. I wonder what mckenna would think about oblivion. he was always harping on how awesome virtual reality was getting. I bet hed love it.

i like the quest in bravil where you get sucked into the oil painting and have to kill all those trolls. the graphics change to this strange psychedelic oil painting world. it's pretty rad.

Make sure to get mods for sure. Even if you don't want to add extra shit to the game there are some really shitty bugs. We can't get xbox live with our internet connection and the fucking game crashes every time I try to complete the Sheogorath shrine quest. Its pissing me off because umbra is the best sword in the game.

u can clone items by dropping them.. look it up..

not really cheating.. more of a glitch.. makes the game hella easy if u want to do it.

Yes it did, especially compared to the witcher. The Witcher kicked Mass Effects ass. If you like RPG's you must play The Witcher.

Wow!  I'm really enjoying this so far.  It's looks beautiful and runs so smoothly. :grin:  People were saying this game is so open ended and there's endless places to go and quests to complete, but the map looks rather small...  I'm assuming more opens up as I progress through the game?  Or are there tons of places that just aren't on the map? 

Either way I'll play this through to the credits.  This game rocks.

Yeah Oblivion lacks some of the trippy outlandishness that morrowind had, but it still rocks.
