Not knowing what your lifestyle is like this may or may not make sense for you, but when I have trouble sleeping from stress or variable drug use, exercise really helps. like really helps. I know most people do not like to bother, but doing prolonged exercise like long jogs bike rides really help me out. I dont think weight lifting or strength training would help (dont for me) but depending on your relationship with exercise i think it could have a similar effect.
I also have inattentive ADD, and so smoking for me is a great way to quiet my mind and keep it from jumping around so much, and so when I am not smoking, running is how I keep my mind and body relaxed which is my problem with staying asleep.

When I'm not smoking I tend to drink more... anything to keep my mind from racing at night to go to sleep.
