getting on the bridge in camden is the hardest part, once you get over the bridge getting to the airport is easy.
Things to check out in philly:
Pat's Steaks for some good South St for touristy stuff Old city (anywhere past 2nd and arch up to about 8th st) for drinks Art museum for some culture Rittenhouse square for a bit of class Fairmount Park (weather is shitty today tho)
I dunno, if you're looking for specific stores or restaurants i can help you more but that's a general list of some things to do in the city

Ya i think il have to wait for a nicer day to do some exploring.
Im actually taking the Walt Whitman Br. its closer, does hour and half sound like a right distance time you think from the nj coast? The route i have off google maps has me on parkway to 195w then jumping on the turnpike.(anyone whos driven on the nj turnpike know theyd rather shoot themselves)

Pat's Steaks for some good
My ex just drove me down to philly today for my birthday (which is on the 3rd) to get me a Pat's cheese steak. Fucking DELICIOUS. There's really nothing like it... Standing in the middle of the street between Pat's and Geno's is probably the best smelling place on earth.

On the jersey side im assuming, 95 is a 55 mph road in philly. You get nailed on the turnpike? NJ state poopers are fucking pricks. That's a state id rather do the limit in just to avoid possibly getting pulled over by one. Driving in nj sucks anyhow, i try to avoid it at all costs lol. Sucks about the ticket tho man hopefully you don't get hit too hard, fight that shit and see if they'll reduce the fines.

Pat's is my favorite in the city hands down, geno's is for fucking tourists and people who don't know better, nothing like getting some pats at 3 am after a night of drinking always a good crowd hanging around front.

93 Cripes, I do'nt think a Philly thread will ever exist without the mention of, and inevitable argument of, cheesesteak places! *cough SONNY'S!!! cough*, sorry about that, had a crik in my throat. Philly has a certain flair of it's own, but really, it seems to mimic the worst attributes of cities like New York, without too many of the positives. I ca'nt really explain what I mean by that, and I'm sure many will disagree. But, it's great as long as you do'nt have to drive about too much! I like old city, u city, and the 107 zip the most. If you ever have the chance to catch some tunes n' grub at world cafe live(104 zip), do so! Their soups will make you melt on the spot. Good grub? Honestly, there's many good restaurants all over. Lot of strangeness about in Philly. Shacks and run down buildings sharing the same block as million dollar homes and great architecture(like nor. lib.) for instance. A visitor is bound to have a few wtf moments. Driving in Jersey? That's white knuckle territory! Must be the air or something. Seriously, there are'nt many cars over 8 or so years old WITHOUT body damage in jersey(slight exaggeration). And the heat! Do'nt get me started. Keep 6-up at all times. 93 93/93

Pats and Genos are great, but if you appreciate a good steak go to Tony Luke's sometime. It's the white steak shop with the bright yellow light 100 yards from the corner of front and oregon.

I think I'm going to make it a point to try a cheesesteak from every place in philly. I'm about 20-30 minutes away from philly so it's going to take a while, but so far I've had Pat's, Geno's, and Jim's. So far Pat's is the shiznittlebamsnipsaffsash!!

flyers fan? must be nice that they're not bringing up the rear this year for you. Pretty crazy year around the NHL in general so far, Devils look to be back on track which is nice.
My bad to derail the thread, but its got nowhere to go anyway.

yah, wonderland in CC and then artifax out on the boulevard. I always liked wonderland a little bit more but their prices were always so fucking steep.
