I've had my 80 gig video Ipod for 8 months. It appears to be working just fine. I had it freeze once but that was nothing a quick button reset didn't fix. I really like the Ipod interface and how it's supporting software (Itunes) functions easily (only a few hitches here and there).
But, ALL Ipods start to go goofy after a 1 1/2-2 years. Just remember that.

I got the 30 gig video the week it came out. Not a single problem. Battery runs as good as it did back 2 years ago. I would assume the larger capacities and newer models are no different. It looks like they pretty much got things down.
