Are there really free ringtones?

just got a new cell phone
i always see spam talkin about free ringtones
i was wondering if there realy was and if anyone might know of where i can get some?
tried a google search but most of the links are fake and not realy free

You might get one for free, but then you end up paying .99 a day for a month or some such nonsense.

What carrier and phone? I just crop and convert music to ringtones and transfer with a usb cable.

werd that's why i got a motorola (slvr)

you can plug it in with the provided usb cable and literally drag and drop mp3s of ringtones you make.. and there are tons of mp3 cropping programs out there..

fck payin for mp3's just buy a data cable or something off ebay..
