need help growing in a fishtank

if i took a few colonized cakes and put them in a fishtank with a substrate on the bottom, letting the mushrooms naturally drop spores on the floor of the fishtank.. would it work? would their be a large contam problem? is there any way like this that i could let mushrooms naturally grow by themselves in a small area?

youll be growing massive amounts of mold before spores drop, if you consider that a problem , then yes...
