Wtf? Problem in the arcade?

So I spend two hours playing blackjack to beat the high score.

I manage to get to 18600 and click submit and the site tells me that I don't have permissions or something similar and to click the back button. I do so but my score is now lost!!!!! All that hard work gone to loss

WTF happened?

If it happens again please provide the URL and the exact text of the error message so I can track it down.

It has happened again. it only seems to happen when I manage to make a new high score, which is annoying.

This time it happened after beating the highscore of funky pong. I clicked on post results and the above appeared.

I am using the new version of Safari, 3.0.4 is the version number.

I'll try it with firefox now and see if the problem still appears.

Does it happen right after you finish the game, or when you enter a comment for the score and click 'Add Comment', or somewhere else? Your Funky Pong score does appear to have been recorded...

happens as soon as you submit the score. the comment page should appear but doesn't.

The funky pong score recorded was obtained playing another game with firefox.

That is gay.... I just spent too much time trying to get high-score... does it only work when you challenge someone???

Killed a 12-pak, and I almost lost my buzz just trying to get this. My fingers are week ... wah wah wah etc.

Also the game was Mahjong....And I am not sure if I did get the high score or not, but that is the screen I got in the end.

Okay I *think* I've tracked down the problem. The error occurs if you use your back button to return to a game instead of clicking the link from the arcade index. It wouldn't create a new session to save your score. I added no cache headers so it should now work as intended, even if you use the back button. Please let me know if it's fixed!

(Oh and I'm really sorry about the lost scores, I know how frustrating that must be. If there was an easy way to credit it to you now I'd do it.)
