Okay, so I guess I shouldn't care really but I can't help but wonder why so many people on here are paranoid enough to use this SWIM crap all the time. I mean, I suppose it's your prerogative and all if that's how you want to phrase every single question that you ask on here, as if you're not really asking for your own benefit.

I just find it kinda humorous. It's just like, nobody really gives two shits if you took acid last Tuesday. And then I'll see posts where somebody said SWIM did this or SWIM did that and the following post is someone else saying, "Yeah dude, YOU should just up the dosage a bit next time." So obviously no one's being fooled here.

I'll admit that I was a little apprehensive about saying too much when I first registered on here too. But after a while I just said screw it and hopped on the bandwagon. It just seems like that's what we're trying to work towards anyway - a place where you can actually let your guard down a bit and not be concerned since you're doing no harm to anyone anyway. I'm not talking about just on the shroomery either. I'm talking about on national and global levels.

I'm certainly not an anarchist. I'm glad there's laws. We need laws. But by the same token, I put more emphasis on morality than legality when it comes to my day to day life. Basically, some laws are meant to be broken and others aren't. I think all you can do is try to make sensible decisions, know the ledge and not go past it.

In fairness, I guess most of the paranoid fuckers are noobs anyway. They'll catch on eventually.

And just because you're paranoid... well, you know the rest.

For the longest time before I ever got an official explination, I had thought it always stood for Some Woman I Met.

Still to this day every time I see it, I automatically think about that girl. Try it, it really makes that bullshit acronym a lot more bearable.

Yeah, I had to look it up too.

I just read a post where the dude said SWIM dosed his lab monkey with some shit. If nothing else, at least it made me laugh my ass off.

Personally, I like it when people put some kinda bullshit line in their sig. It serves the same purpose without making the posts a pain in the ass to sift through.

And that's all I'll say about that I guess.

Do they really? I've barely seen anyone use it on here since i joined. I remember bluelight used to overflow with 'swim's when i used to go there thou.

For those that dont know: Swim = Someone Who Isn't Me. Originally used to supposedly discredit recorded evidence of posts related to criminal activity. But since become a total joke, and shouldn't be taken seriously imo.
