Why would someone build a tolerance to them if it is possible is beyond me. Surely their ingestion and some level of organ damage are inseparable.

I emailed their company questions about that video and never got a response.

A week later (just to see if I could get a response) I emailed them again asking questions on how to buy their book and DVD and got an immediate response.

I urge others to email their company and get to the bottom of what is on that video..

building a tolerance to a bicyclic octopeptide is like gradually becoming immune to the progressive act of savagely injecting your liver with various toxic body excretions and corrosives in a in a chunky randomized, but NOT homological slurry, letting it rest for a day and then repeating in diminishing intervals.

your liver does NOT have the ability to ADAPT to these octopeptides any more than a match head has the ability to adapt to fire. The toxins in question here are the perfect chemical decomposer for liver tissue, and they go through the liver over and over because the liver tries to excrete the chemicals, but they cycle back through the blood stream, back into an already damaged liver.

this "Shaman" guy is such bullshit. most often when I hear people use the title "shaman" they are trying to canonize the heroic consumption of very dangerous chemicals and plants as some sort of pinnacle of intellectual prowess.

and more often then not its supported by some unsubstantiated but widely-received loosely-associated myths. (in this case, the myth that those called shamans shamans are wise, that you can build tolerance to all poisons, that magic is real, etc.)

this one is just stupid.

imagine believing it, you'd also have to believe that your liver would also adapt to gradual increase in alcohol consumption over a period of years.
or mercury....
or lead.

DUH!

Cumulative, permanent damage does NOT support adaptation.
and that is the ONLY effect that that mushroom has on the liver. you need effect for adaptation. but not this type.

i checked the website, its an attempt at a cult....
they got a few dirty hippies and some crazy drugs, a shitload of costumes and rituals, mission statements, gratuitous use of sacred imagery.

The video quality is so poor, that the mushroom they claim to be Amanita phalloides could easily be some other non-poisonous species, either from genus Amanita or not. If it IS Amanita phalloides then the secret to his "rapid ingestion" most likely is inducing vomiting the second after the camera is switched off, water and activated charcoal. It's stupid and dangerous to post such bullshit videos on the internet. Just so un-shamanic

A friend of mine tried to post a comment on that video suggesting that he must be eating something other than the deadly amanita. It noted that the comment was "Awaiting approval" and never received it.
