Can anyone ID these?

I'm quite (meaning very) new to picking mushrooms, and I found these in my garden. I thought that they were P. Semilanceata (Liberty Caps) but I asked on a different forum and got a mixed response, therefore I'm asking here.

Sorry that it's a fairly bad picture, the light was bad, and I dried (well... Microwaved ) them after so I can't get a picture of the underside. They had light brownish-tan gills.
I can pick some more tomorrow if it's make it easier to give me an ID.
Anyway, thanks very much.

I would proceed with caution. Those look like no Liberty Cap that I have ever seen.

Thats because they're not They are some type of Conocybe, not sure what species. Possibly C. lactea, but I doubt it, the caps are a little bit too conical. Not active, do not eat.

I ate a few of them, & they were quite nice actually, seeing as I don't normally like mushrooms to eat. No effect as you all have said but they might be useful to cook. And they grow in the garden so...
I hope you were right about being able to eat them Moe ( )

Hey Lord Hugh- I wouldn't ingest any alcohol for the next few days if I were you. I've read from numerous sources that if you drink alcohol within the next few days after eating Conocybes, bad things happen. Conocybes and alcohol don't mix I guess. Hope I helped.

Excuse me Mr. Flanders but that is Coprinus atramanetarius mushrooms you are referring to. They contain disulferam like compounds which are related to antibuse and if you eat those Copprinus mushrooms then everytime you take a drink for up to 8 days or so after eating those Coprinus mushrooms then you will become violently sick with cramps, nausea and some vomiting.
Remember that is Coprinus not Conocybe, of which there are four psilocyian specines in the latter genera.
