We had home-made pizza last night!

Considering how easy and cheap it was..and how good it tasted!...I think we will be making our own from now on!

Seriously....pizza dough is simple!
2 1/2 cups flower
1 cup warm water
1 pack dry instant yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil

Mix it all up and let it sit for an hour to rise...makes enough for two 12 inch pizzas!

i use 3 and 1/2 cups white flour and half cup wheat or rye flour/bran.  Also experment with adding herbs and spices :thumbup:

i also use 6 tablespoons of virgin olive oil, and garlic salt, and i think a teaspoon of baking power.

as for the sause, use lots of oregino and parmesian cheese:yesnod:

i just make one big pizza, it always ends up melting over the side and burning on the bottom of the stove causing so much smoke i have to open the windows....but dam its worth it :lol:

dominos is not pizza....yeah its round...has something red on it and something similar to cheese....but thats where the similarity ends.

exactly thats why they always are consistently having new deals and endless coupons in the mail, I have ate domino's before with full intention of having a good night sitting back and drinking some beer but the few slices of domino's I could choke down made me feel like such shit I couldn't stomach anything after that
