i just hope southpark keeps this story line thing going, i think this 3 part episode is awsome, its like a little soap opera

that shit episode was such shit, then they came and redeemed themselves.

im a diehard familyguy fan. but even i can admit southpark is funnier.

edit: i agree with those who said SP is more thought out and FG is more random useless jokes. but thats what i love about FG. everyone needs some wack jackery every now and then.

yeah, south park hands down. Family Guy is becoming like mainstream hip hop/pop music while South Park is as real as NWA.

I still would vote for South Park. Family guy is mostly made up from making fun of other movies, shows, comedies..that someone else already made.

It's a really close one, thats for sure.

I voted Family Guy because there's only so much South Park I can take. I can watch Family Guy 5-6 episodes in a row whenever TBS, FOX, CARTOON NETWORK runs a marathon. Hell, I could watch Family guy all day.

With south park... After about 2 shows I've hit my limit.

U2 has sucked ever since Achtung Baby but cmon... Bono's no douche. What's so douchey about trying to use your fame to make this world a better place to live? If that were the case.. Thom Yorke would be a douche too. He just doesn't get into the spotlight because his band will never be as popular. Rednecks at home would be watching tv, seeing him on there and be like "WTF! WHo's this guy?"

It depends on which episode, South park has some very stupid episodes as well..yes the new episode about 'Shit'..I couldn't even watch more then half of the show, it was retarded and a waste of time to watch.

stewie beats the hell out of any south park episode.

I find all the singing in SP gets fucking gay.

Not to mention the crude ass fucking humor is lame.

And all the shit about gays etc. I don't mind them making fun of them, but they can't find something else to talk about?

Sp isn't even remotely funny in like 8 out of every 10 episodes.

I'll agree family guy plays iteslf out alot. But remember this, family guy is on like 3 seperate channels now every day which says alot about sp and it's comedy central airing at like 11?

South Park has much more staying power. I wont say its funnier or more clever because that all depends on the episode your making a reference to. Personally I like that South Park has a very limited TV schedule, it doesn't over do it. unlike every cheap network now adays trying to suck in ratings by showing old episodes of FG.

South Park is more original and the writing has a much better flow.

Finally. I really hate how everyone who watches FG clings to the stewie character. I think its because out of all the characters hes the only one with that negative "tough guy" persona at times, so I like to think the idiots who watch the character and enjoy it, are actually the same in reality. Someone who wants to say some frightening n tough shit, but is actually just a little kid.

RANT OFF!

PS: Parker and Stone are also masters of taking a situation and using a stroonng hyperbole to make it funny :smile:.  "Mr. President you must have Family Guy taken off the network!"  "Im sorry Mr.President, but its our highest rated show"

That's one of the problems with family guy - 3 channels every day.

They only have less than half as many episodes - which means every time i turn on one of those "3-channel-all-day" airings, i get to watch one-of-15 episodes i see ALL THE FUCKING TIME. I can only watch petoria or peter-turns-into-dukes of hazard so many times before even I get tired of them.

Sure - it's convienant because they have so many 2-second quips that you can never remeber them all (and thusly giving the show a continued shock-gag value) but when all the 2-second jokes are poorly planned and not that funny - it's like having a lifetime supply of Fox Delux pizzas

i'm just sayin, that FG is clearly the fan favorite. Otherwise sp would be on every other channel every other other hour.

just like the FG episodes, the late sp episodes are trash, I can't even watch 10 minutes of them.

South Park has content that FG doesnt have, it would never air on FOX or regular TV..South park is cable tv. Besides The Simpsons are still my overall favorite over those two shows.

yeah and America's Next Top Model is on every other hour too, whats your point? People are idiots. South Park has well written stories with characters and relationships that develop over time; Whereas Family Guy is random, badly written American celebrity-culture bullshit. I don't even get half the jokes because I don't happen to jerk one off over Empire every night.
