It works like a champ , so long as it is wheat straw the pellets are made from. Alfala pellets also work, but for whatever reason not as great as wheat straw ones. The Racoon is currently testing some pellets he first tried to make (and F**ked up), then had a gypo wholesale grain & feed manufacturer make that are 65% wheat straw, 5% wheat bran, 28% dry manure & 2% Diatomite. What a PITA that was to get togather. LOL, peaple there said "You want to do what? Why?" LOL.

The next little task is to have some 31% peat, 33% Coir, 33% verm & 2% Diatomite pellets made for casing material. The pelletizing process darn near pasturizes them. All one would have to do is hydrate the pellets with boiling hot water in a crock or insulated cooler & let it set an hour. Bingo Bango, ready made easy to use casing material .
