This is weird

Having the internet in my apartment, I mean. Really fucking weird. For the last month, a little more actually, I've been existing in a net-less world for the most part, only using work computers to check work email since I'm barely on a computer.

Now my roommate and I are sitting in the living room each on our respective laptops and it's kind of annoying actually. Why is the internet so attractive? Why do I let it become such a black hole for my time and attention?

Of course I'd probably fritter the time away some other way if I wasn't on the computer.

Anyway...time to get stoned, eh?

it'll be good to have you back. it always saddens me when a prominent figure drops from the ranks of the shroomery, because that means he's probably doing something more productive with his time and making me look like a bum by comparison.

It's okay man, I totally understand!  Life is just now settling down for me too.  I'm working a steady job, with steady pay, working out at the gym, fasting, quit pot, doing lots of shopping, enjoying my first official NE autumn...life is alright.  I feel better then I ever have before in my life.  :smile: 

It's good to see you back though.  I've missed seeing you around here.

What's your steady job these days? I've been working my ass off. Kinda sucks, kinda feels good. The paychecks are nice. I bet the leaves turning will be beautiful up where you are - I wish it would fucking get cold already though!

Ha, I've really been enjoying the warmer weather. I feel like I got a second summer, but because I bike to and from my job, I'm worried that the weather will turn on a dime and start getting really cold and rainy. I'm working on getting a car of my own right now to spare myself from biking in the snow. Right now I make a living putting decals on signs (essentially playing with stickers) and working in an office at the same place. It's pretty nice because for a long time I was waitressing and never made any money to speak of, so this allows me to go on mini-spending sprees every few days, and I think I kinda need that right now since I was so broke over the summer and couldn't do anything fun.

And yes, the leaves are fucking spectacular. Even the ground is pretty, with the fallen leaves blanketing the earth in orange.

How many roommates do you have? Are they new ones?

hey OMR. I wish my laptops battery was not dead so I could just go wherever I want.  Alas the stupid dell battery died a few days after the warrenty...:(  seriously I think they plan this shit on selected computers so they make money without it seeming like it is on purpose. fuckers.
