Help me with my car. (diy sunroof repair.)

So, some of you might remember, a couple months ago - mid August, my car was vandalized by a friend who lost his marbles. He shattered and mangled the sunroof and sunroof assembly to complete disrepair, with 2 shovels from my yard.
The car is a 1993 Cadillac, Fleetwood brougham.
The parts for the sunroof assembly/frame/glass are discontinued on that year, and the autowreckers are very empty.
I got paid out by the insurance corp today, and.. have been doing to glass places as time permits. They all say, "your fucked" and "this is going to be a nightmare always and forever"... unless i can get the proper parts.
To add to the trouble, the car has the factory roof, which is contoured.. meaning.. that plexiglass/lexan wont fit snuggly, because it needs to be contoured.
So.. Now it comes down to DIY. Its winter, and i have a big hole in my roof.
Please help me fix this!... quick fixes (tape/garbagebags + cardboard) are continuously not working/leaking/cold, etc....
What can i do? Does anyone know any autowreckers to try, or... fix ideas? Any points of reference?
If worst comes to worst, it may become an art car, a shit in the face of capitalism.

1 craigslist
2, get a piece of plexi glass from your local home depot or lowes and glue the fucker to the top of your roof, i would say have it over extend the hole in your roof by atleast an inch, and have the glue cover that whole inch.
when you open your windows at a high speed youre going to have a large pressure change very quickly, so the bond will have to be strong. i would recommend using an epoxy, and yes you will be ruining your paint.

also if you can... sand the paint off of the inch where the glue will have to go so you can bond it directly to the metal roof of your car.
caulk the edges to keep it water proof and prevent rust, and if you bevel the caulk you can help the wind resistance for that 1/4 inch of plexi glass. you dont want it peeling off at high speeds

i would google the fuck outta your car with parts search yards etc and pay to have one shipped in... i found a used bumper for a 1995 audi s6 wagon that even matched colors after some hard searching. just try sending parts requests to different junk yards and such and you will find one.

Ive tried all sorts of autowreckers, and there arnt any parts, and also ICBC left it for 7 weeks or so, "searching" without finding anything.
My parents are pissed off at me, that i settled, but considering i paid 1000 for the car, and i just got 1600 for it, and still have a perfectly operating car, im stoked.
+
I just found a company called webasto that makes aftermarket sunroofs.. and at least Used to, make them for my exact model of car.
Im praying that i can find a match.
If not.. and it comes down to it, i might just get metal welded to the roof and fill it with expanding foam, and consider the car a beater.
(honestly, my style is not cadillac, and i pretty much feel like a prick driving a gold luxury car around.)

i used to have a cadillac. they are very nice cars but costly to maintain.
im sure there are parts out there. though you may have to source them from far away and have them shipped to you.
custom sunroofs are always an option.
if you want to go cheap i would go with some plexiglass, jb weld, & some silicone sealant. you might even want to drill a few screws in to make sure it holds up at high speeds.

I priced it out at $1390 installed. Today, and i got paid 1662 from the insurance, + will get 300 bucks for the deductible from the kid who smashed it up.
That means, after a trip out of town and countless hours of work and frustration, ill make about $400 on it.
