special hunting partner re-post
    #7494105 -

Hello everybody. I am reposting a special hunting partner request for Seattle. I got permission from Ripple and Ythan, again. The reason I am posting this is because I am fairly new and It's a good idea for newbies to have an experienced partner when they go out hunting to begin with. Unfortunately, I signed up a little late, and didn't have enough time for the 60 days to post in the gathering forum, so I got special permission to post here. This is not normal, it's a special request, and it's not a big deal SO PLEASE DON"T FLAME.

I am from Seattle. This season I will try to find some cyanescens mushrooms and others that are good for cooking. I am 22 years old and I have never done actives before in my life, one time I tried but I got thrown around at a concert and threw them up.

I'm not begging for help or asking you to show me your patch. I just was hoping someone experienced would come with me or take me with them sometime in the next few weeks. I read on here that it's a good idea to have someone go with you if you're a first timer.I can look myself, but if someone showed me how to find some then it would be a lot easier for me then on.

I also know some places too but lack the experience of others. I bet if someone came with me it could be rewarding for both of us.I was born and raised here I know a good portion of seattle pretty well.

I was told not to expect too much and I don't. I know how nervous some people are and I don't blame them. I am just a young guy who could use some help. If you're interested but would like more info, we can talk more or even meet up for a beer or smoke and talk about it.

I'm not some mushroom head, I've never even done them before. I really just want to try them, and honestly the whole idea of hunting for shrooms is really fun, regardless of actives.

A little bit more about me:

I am 22 years old. I am a skinny guy about 5 ft 6 inches. I like nature alot and this past summer I went up to the olympic national park several times. I am a very peaceful fellow, I am A Christian who is just fine with natural drugs as they are biblical and lawful in God's sight. I am not argumentative or loud or rude. I like to do lots of things, most of them I've never gotten a chance to do before! But I still have interests. I try to be as honest as I can, and not steal from others.I would show a pic but it's the internet. If you pm I can show you one from a while back. I used to play soccer, I like cameras, science experiments, riding around on scooters or bikes, philosophy, chatting in forums. I like the cheeba. I like going for walks and reading books. I like doing nice things for others alot. It really makes me feel good. I try to be clean and dressed nice. I like natural art and beauty alot. Lots of other things. I hope that gives people an idea.

If you're worried that you don't know me or I may be a narc, I assure you I'm not a narc and I'm not in a big hurry like some freak on craigslist personals. I'll give you whatever information you need to know, and do whatever within reason to confirm to you my identity.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

You really dont neccessarily need a guide to hunt. just dont eat them until you get an ID in the hunting forum. But it is more fun with someone else, and if they know alot it would prolly be really helpfull to you.

Good Luck. You guys are making me jealous, our season hasnt started yet.

You know I so would, but my dad won't let me smoke pot on the property, and I don't know whether it would be a good idea to grow mushies here.He says it's in the lease. Otherwise, I'd already be on it. But I highly doubt the lease says anything specifically about mushrooms, but I don't want to get my family evicted.

edit: I just read that, and I realize it needs some more explaining. I don't see anything wrong morally wrong with growing anything, but If my Dad says no because he's worried, then I can't go against him.

But then sometimes I think, but why do I have to tell him everything I do? Isn't that why people keep some things secret? It's an on going debate.

Are pine trees a good way to tell if the season will be good? Are there other signs too? I don't know, I mean , if all these other mushrooms have been popping up lately, I don't see why cyans couldn't.

Yeah the weather is really acting strange. We are getting good amount of rain though.Don't worry, we are moving further away from the sun, and that's a fact.

What I mean is that when we move towards winter we are moving further away from the sun. The earth has an uneven rotation around the sun, that's why we have the seasons the way we do.

So I found out that my Dad completely lied to me. He said the lease specifically said I couldn't smoke weed but it didn't. This just makes me so angry.

I hope he just accepts that he's wrong. I'm so sick of false Christians judging others. I'm so sick of false Christians like this giving Christianity a bad name, and judging according to mans law. I could be growing and making money right now, and not be in a state of feinding for these mushrooms.

I think I'm just going to give up. I'm so sick of this. Maybe someday I'll try them.
